Last summer I came to Mission Lazarus with a group from Chicago. One of the group members, Chuck Miller, told me “It’s all about the children’s faces.” Since then, I’ve looked at the children of Honduras differently. I love capturing the most precious aspects of their faces.
Today, I was in Cedeño working at the clinic. Around one o’clock, underneath the clinic, the women at the church offer a food program for the children. It was extremely difficult for me to pick out what pictures I wanted to post, but these were some of the “faces” that melted my heart. Their eyes tell a story—Something I try to never look past.
